Would you rather buy membership on Clubpenguin or Chobots.com?

*Warning: This will be a really long post. It will stay at the top of this blog for about a week.*

So today I went on Club Penguin for the first time in about 5 months (I was bored out of my mind), and I was amazed at all the updates that they had done.
Usually Club Penguin are really stingy and do hardly any updates but they have done quite a lot.
I started to think that maybe Club Penguin is actually better than chobots.com...
Would you rather buy a chobots membership or a club penguin one?

Club Penguin latest Updates:
1. The club penguin community page has been updated with a bunch of new stuff. They now have new Comics, wallpapers, blog banners and widgets, recipes, arts and crafts, outdoor activities,  and colouring things to look at and do.

Club penguin also has a blog, fan gallery, featured igloo page, and global citizenship page.

2. Creating a penguin is now seriously easy! :)
Just create a penguin name, choose a colour, create a password, enter an email and agree to the terms of use!



3. The first page is pretty cool and clean looking. You can easily get to the place that you want to be.

4. Puffles: There is a new puffle caring system.

Non-members can now buy food for your puffle from the pet store. They can also buy puffle super toys but these are pointless unless you are a member because each puffle species can only play with its own toy and the cool puffles can only be bought by members. If you have already been a member and bought other puffles then you might still want to buy these items.

5. They actually bothered to create a new play. If you have played club penguin then you will know that they usually just repeat the same plays and stuff for ages but they've actually made a new one.

It's called Secrets of the Bamboo Forest. I couldn't be bothered to find out what it is soo...yeah. lol :P

And of course there is a new costume catalog with stuff that only members can buy with a background for non-cits. :/

I hate it how they only ever give out backgrounds and hats to non-members. >:O

6. The Nightclub: At the top of the nightclub they've introduced a game called bits and bolts. 



It's actually not a bad game, though you earn basicalled nothing from it. Also, It kind of sucks cause after when you get to level 6 you have to be a member to keep on playing. So if you play, try and get as many coins before you reach level 6.

7. The Pet shop: It now looks really different and they've updated the catalog with a bunch of new stuff.

Also, you can now take a quiz and find out which puffle is best suited for you.

Also, they have introduced a new game there called Puffle Launch.

You have to already own a puffle in order to play the game. 12 of the levels you can play are for non-cits and all the rest are for members.

It's really cool and simple to play. There is no time limit on the game. Also, you have unlimited lives.

8. New Stuff: A new catalog with pretty cool clothing. The only thing that non-cits can get is backgrounds. :(

There is also a new igloo catalog (everything is for members).

So those are the updates!!

I think it's safe to say that Chobots is a way better place for non-members, since it has lots of free stuff but what about members?

Would you rather buy a Club penguin membership or a chobots one?

Club Penguin Advantages and Disadvantages:

• Advantages:
• Has a ton more stuff to buy, which they update pretty regularly
• You get a lot more for your money
• Updates are now more regular.
• Club penguin 1 month membership is cheaper.
• Club is way safer (they won a webaward in 2008 and have been recognized by several other companies for safety)
• Updates guaranteed for every week.
• You can find out what is going on while playing the game instead of having to visit blogs.
• etc. (can't be bothered to write any more)

Disadvantages:

• Clubpenguin isn't as easy to connect with friends on because there are so many servers and places.
• There are tonnes of players so it gets quite laggy.
• Because so many kids play the game it isn't as small and quiet as chobots.
• etc

Chobots advantages and disadvantages:

Advantages:

• Memberships come with one cool exclusive item
• Chobots 12 month membership is about $10 cheaper.
• etc (can't think of any more at the moment)

Disadvantages:

• Chobots.com is constantly being spammed.
• It is supposed to be a family game but is actually a really inappropriate place for young children.
• Hackers...:/
• Less value for money. There are fewer updates these days.
• Chobots is being shut down a lot lately because of hackers and stuff, so you lose out on your citizenship.
• etc.
